The NeuroTrac Continence is a single-channel neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) device designed for pelvic floor retraining and continence management at home. It delivers symmetrical, rectangular biphasic constant current to stimulate pelvic floor muscles and nerve fibres, making it suitable for stress, urge, and mixed urinary incontinence, as well as pelvic floor pain and muscle weakness.
Compatible with vaginal probes, anal probes, and skin-surface electrodes, it is suitable for both men and women. Nine preset continence programmes cover the most common clinical presentations, with customisable programmes available for more tailored treatment. It is recommended for use under the guidance of a physiotherapist or suitably qualified clinician.

Important: The NeuroTrac Continence is a UKCA-marked Class IIa medical device. It is intended for use under the guidance of a physiotherapist or qualified clinician. If you are unsure whether this device is appropriate for your condition, please consult your GP or a pelvic health physiotherapist before purchase so they can show you how to use it.
About this device
The NeuroTrac Continence uses a technique called neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) to exercise the pelvic floor muscles. A small, controlled electrical current is delivered through a probe or skin-surface electrodes, causing the muscles to contract and relax in a structured pattern. This mimics the action of a voluntary kegel exercise, but with greater precision and consistency -- particularly useful if you find it difficult to locate or contract your pelvic floor independently.
With nine preset programmes covering the most common continence conditions, plus three fully customisable slots, the device can be tailored to your specific needs by a physiotherapist. It is straightforward to use at home and is one of the most widely recommended pelvic floor stimulators in the UK.
What to expect
The sensation
You will feel a gentle tingling or pulsing sensation, followed by a noticeable muscle contraction. It should not be painful. Start at a low intensity and increase gradually until you feel a comfortable contraction.
Session length
Most preset programmes run for 20 to 30 minutes. Sessions can be set between 1 and 90 minutes depending on your programme and the guidance of your clinician.
How often
Daily use is typical during an active treatment programme. Your physiotherapist will advise on frequency. Most people follow a structured 12-week programme before reassessing.
Getting started
Choose your electrode
Skin-surface electrodes are included in the box, so everything you need to get started is provided. If you prefer to use a vaginal or anal probe instead, these are available to purchase separately. Your physiotherapist will advise which is most appropriate for your condition.
Select your programme
For stress incontinence, start with P03 or P04. For urgency or frequency, try P02, P05, or P06. For pelvic floor pain, use P01. Your physiotherapist will recommend the most appropriate starting point for your symptoms.
Set the intensity
Begin at zero and increase slowly until you feel a clear but comfortable muscle contraction. It should not be painful. Your effective level may increase gradually over time as your tolerance builds.
Use regularly
Consistent daily use over several weeks is key to meaningful improvement. If your clinician has set a custom programme for you, follow their prescribed schedule and return for reassessment at the agreed interval.
