Men's pelvic health
Peyronie's disease is caused by fibrous plaque forming within the penis, leading to curvature, discomfort, and in some cases erectile dysfunction. A widely recommended conservative treatment in UK urology is the use of a medical-grade vacuum pump with progressive inner tubes, designed to apply controlled longitudinal stretch and support tissue remodelling.
Clinical evidence
Significant improvements observed across three months of vacuum therapy for Peyronie's disease
23.3° → 11.1°
Reduction in penile curvature
1.78 → 1.06 cm
Reduction in plaque size
P < 0.001
Statistical significance across all measures
Ghasemlouei 2020 — men using progressively larger multi-diameter cylinders over three months. Most participants reported satisfaction with no need for further treatment.
Recommended protocol
Stage 1
Smallest tube
Begin with all tubes assembled inside one another, held in place by the white seal. Use the innermost (smallest) tube for the first month.
Stage 2
Second tube
Remove the smallest inner tube and progress to the second smallest tube for the second month.
Stage 3
Standard tube
Progress to the standard (outermost) tube from month three onwards, continuing for the remainder of the course.
Pump to erection and hold for five minutes. Release and rest for one minute, then repeat for a further five minutes. Aim for two to three sessions daily. Consistent use over three to six months is recommended to achieve the full therapeutic effect.
Not suitable for all patients
Vacuum therapy for Peyronie's disease is recommended for mild to moderate curvature with stable disease. Men with severe curvature, significant pain, or complex deformities should consult a urologist before use.
