The Kegel8 Glide is an internal vaginal probe finished with gold-plated electrodes. Gold is one of the most conductive materials available, so it carries the electrical stimulation from your pelvic floor toner to your muscles more efficiently than standard stainless-steel probes, giving you strong, consistent contact throughout your session.
Its scoop-shaped, ergonomic body is designed to sit comfortably beneath prolapsed tissue and stay in position while you train, making it a good choice for women managing pelvic organ prolapse or a weaker pelvic floor. At just 20g it is lightweight and easy to keep in place. Because the electrodes are gold rather than nickel, it is also a hypoallergenic option for anyone with a nickel sensitivity.

About this probe
The Gold Glide is an internal vaginal probe used together with a pelvic floor stimulator. It carries the electrical stimulation from your device to the pelvic floor muscles, prompting them to contract and relax in a controlled pattern. Because the electrodes are finished in gold, one of the most conductive materials available, the probe transmits that stimulation more efficiently than standard stainless-steel probes, giving strong and consistent contact with the muscles throughout your session.
Its scoop-shaped, ergonomic body is designed to sit comfortably beneath prolapsed tissue and stay in position while you train, so even a weaker pelvic floor can hold it securely in place. At just 20g it is light and easy to keep positioned. The gold electrodes are nickel-free and hypoallergenic, and the probe is BPA-free, making it a good option for anyone with a nickel sensitivity.
What to expect
The sensation
You will feel a gentle tingling or pulsing, followed by a noticeable muscle contraction. It should never be painful. Start at a low intensity and increase gradually until you feel a comfortable contraction.
Session length
Session length is set by the programme on your stimulator, typically around 20 to 30 minutes. Follow the guidance of your device and your clinician.
How often
Regular, consistent use gives the best results and the probe is designed to support daily training over the long term. Your physiotherapist can advise on the right frequency for you.
Getting started
Connect the lead wire
The probe connects to your stimulator using a lead wire, which is required and sold separately. Plug the lead wire into the base of the probe and into your device before you begin.
Insert the probe
Apply a little water-based lubricant if needed and insert the probe gently. Its scoop shape is designed to sit comfortably in place, including beneath prolapsed tissue, so it stays put during your session.
Select your programme
Choose the appropriate programme on your stimulator for your symptoms. Your physiotherapist can recommend the most suitable starting point if you are unsure.
Set the intensity
Begin at zero and increase slowly until you feel a clear but comfortable muscle contraction. It should not be painful. Your effective level may rise gradually over time as your tolerance builds.

Well suited for
Consult your GP first if you
The Gold Glide is a registered medical device intended for use with a compatible pelvic floor stimulator. Clean with warm soapy water and pat or air dry, do not sterilise, and avoid harsh chemicals, which can erode the gold plating. If you have not previously been assessed for pelvic floor dysfunction, a consultation with a pelvic health physiotherapist before purchase is advised.
